This paper presents the collection of the Ptolemaic papyri of the University of Genoa (PUG) coming from cartonnage, which bear official and administrative texts and private documents, which are very useful for the study of ancient Greek law. The paper has been presented at the XXIII International Congress of Papyrology, held in Vienna from 22 to 28 July 2001.
